Cooper B-Line - GS Metals Brake Steps, made from GRIP STRUT® Safety Grating (the original safety grating), provide maximum  safety while setting or releasing rail car hand brakes, and can replace unsafe running boards that are missing, broken or bent.
GRIP STRUT Safety Grating feature a unique serrated surface for optimum slip protection in situations where rain, ice, snow, grease, oil and other slippery materials create hazardous conditions for railroad workers. The open design lets liquid and debris pass through to keep brake steps clear.
Cooper B-Line - GS Metals Brake Steps are available in 8" and 10" widths to fit all of the most common brake chain configurations. A reinforced collar is included with all brake chain cutouts to keep walkway surfaces from bending to one side. Immediate shipment is available to meet emergency requirements.
